Qualified Staff With a Proven Track Record in Developing Players.
Joey Syfert is the Academy Director at Georgia Alliance FC. He comes to us from Smyrna Soccer Club where he placed 9 players into the U12 academy at Atlanta United over the last 3 years. Before joining us, he had 10 players currently playing in the Atlanta United Juniors program with multiple others being selected for the Atlanta United RDS. We are thrilled to have him lead this academy and develop the next generation of complete players. He will be involved in either a coaching or guidance role in each academy team as well as working with the Georgia Alliance FC Elite program. He will be providing and setting the curriculum for the entire academy and pre academy age groups and staff.
3 practices a week. 1 or more games in a weekend.
The academy age groups are critical in developing a player's technical ability and creativity. 2 nights a week, players will work with their teams doing technical focused sessions. For the third night, players will have a flex option where they will play futsal on our futsal courts or work on speed and agility and technique based games.
